BeatsCut - Video Editor (BeatsCut) is a video editing application provided by BeatsCut. Before using or continuing to use our products and services, please read carefully and fully understand this policy.
This policy stipulates the personal information of minors in Article 9. If you are the legal guardian of the relevant minor user, please read carefully the terms on the protection of minor information and choose whether to agree to this policy. BeatsCut needs the Photo Library permission for the following purposes.
(a) Create a video cut with your own photos or video. (b) Save the video cut result to your photo library.
This permission is only for editing and saving videos or photos. We will not obtain any video or photos from your device, nor will we modify or delete the content in your local media storage.
BeatsCut needs the network permission for the following purposes.
(a) Download the materials or the video templates from on the BeatsCut server for create a video cut.
(b) Send feedback or report a software issue to us.
(c) BeatsCut will collect analytics data for improving the product and service. you can opt-out from the analytics in the settings of BeatsCut.
BeatsCut needs the Microphone permission for the following purposes.
(a) Record voice-over and add it to the video cut.
The recorded audio is saved in the app local storage on your device, BeatsCut will not upload your recordings to any server.
When you use the voice to text transcribe feature, your audio will be uploaded to OpenAI's Whisper server for processing. Data will be deleted after processing, and will not be saved on the server. Please check the privicy policy of OpenAI at this link, https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy
When you send feedback via email or provide us with an error report, we will obtain your username, email address, and email content, so that we can communicate with you about problems encountered during the use of our products and services.
BeatsCut provide in-app purchase of membership to allow user to use the advanced features and remove ads. BeatsCut allow user to login the same account on different devices to utilize the membership. When you sign up/in an account, we will obtain your username and email address so that we can bind the membership to your account.
Cookies are text files created on your device by the web server. In order to provide a better service, we may use related technologies to send one or more cookies to your device to collect and store information about the use of this product. The specific usage is as follows:
Cookies can help you call up information during subsequent visits, simplify the process of recording and filling in personal information, and allow you to have a more relaxed visit experience.
Admob, as advertisers of BeatsCut, may collect information generated during your use of our products and services, extract your preferences, and use them to show you ads that are more in line with your individual needs. We will use technical means to anonymize the data, and the anonymized information will not be able to identify the subject. BeatsCut will display a pop up to ask you if allow these third parties to track your app use activities. Please note that you may still see ads after turning off this option, but the relevance of ads will be reduced.

To improve the performance of AdMob, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect certain information from apps, including:

Non-user related crash logs, which may be used to diagnose problems and improve the SDK. Diagnostic information may also be used for advertising and analytics purposes.
User-associated performance data such as app launch time, hang rate, or energy usage, which may be used to evaluate user behavior, understand the effectiveness of existing product features, and plan new features. Performance data may also be used for displaying ads, including sharing with other entities that display ads.
A Device ID, such as the device's advertising identifier or other app- or developer-bounded device identifiers, which may be used for the purpose of third-party advertising and analytics.
Advertising data, such as advertisements the user has seen, may be used to power analytics and advertising features.
Other user product interactions like app launch taps, and interaction information, like video views, may be used to improve advertising performance.
Except for the requirements of laws and regulations, mandatory administrative law enforcement, judicial or regulatory requirements, we will not transfer your personal information to any company, organization or individual.
We only disclose your personal information in the following situations:
(1)According to your needs, disclose your designated personal information in a disclosure method that you explicitly agree to;

● In order to improve your experience, BeatsCut will store the contents of the video editing project locally on the device until you actively delete it not limited but including the video and the audio material applied to video. This is only for your convenience and will not be used in any other way.
● We will work hard to provide protection for users' information security to prevent information loss, improper use, unauthorized access or disclosure. And use various security protection measures within a reasonable security level to ensure the security of information. For example, anonymize your personal information.
● We will work hard to protect your personal information, but please understand that there is no "perfect security measure" on the Internet. BeatsCut mainly provides its products and services to people over 13 years old (or the prescribed age in your country/region). If you are the guardian of a child user under the age of 13 (or the prescribed age in your country/region), we remind you to properly perform guardianship duties to protect the safety of children's personal information.
